Today I spent the day at school studying. Now I know how to consolidate the financial statements of two companies and I can prepare both an income statement and a balance sheet from only a statement of cash flows. I can also retrospectively change a company's reported net income if the company decides to change from LIFO to FIFO.
But when am I ever really going to need to know or use any of this information? On my test on Monday. Then I will forget it until finals, and then after finals I will forget it forever. I am glad I am learning things that computers can do in seconds.
School stinks. I can't wait for summer. Or spring--for my floral design class. Now that will be a useful class.
